Doctoral Researchers' Day 2025
On Doctoral Researchers' Day on November 12, 2025, the Graduate Academy Leipzig will be putting the spotlight on our university's (future) doctoral researchers.
Around 4,500 doctoral researchers work and conduct research at Leipzig University. Since 2006, the Graduate Academy Leipzig has been supporting them and their supervisors with information, advice, and workshops. On Doctoral Researchers' Day on November 12, 2025, the Graduate Academy Leipzig will be putting the spotlight on the (future) doctoral researchers at our university.
In our three workshops, we will help you make decisions (“Passt eine Promotion zu mir?”), assist you in drawing up a supervision agreement for your doctorate (“Werkzeug für ein starkes Fundament”), and support you in getting started with science communication on social media (“Science goes social media”).
In the evening, we will present the Leipzig University Supervisor Award for outstanding doctoral supervision. At the Science Slam in the GRASSI Museum, scientists in the early stages of their careers will give short and entertaining presentations on their research topics.
All those interested are cordially invited! Membership is not necessary. Registration is required for the workshops and the award ceremony.
