New emergency coronavirus legislation entered into force in Saxony on 22 November 2021. As a result, Leipzig University’s crisis management team has adopted new regulations affecting University operations. These will be valid for as long as Saxony’s current emergency coronavirus legislation applies, so until 12 December 2021.

Seven key points cover measures involving the “3G” rule when entering the workplace, the obligation to show proof, checking and documenting “3G”, testing, and working from home. At the same time, a number of changes have been adopted for teaching. Our latest email inform students and staff about the new measures, with which we hope to keep the University open this winter semester.
