UniCard: Validation and Validity
Validation: It is currently only possible to validate your UniCard during the day in the foyer at Goethestraße 6 and at Liebigstraße 23/25 (Library of Medicine and Sciences).
Validity: In agreement with the Central German Transport Network (MDV), the following regulations will therefore apply when MDV semester tickets are checked from 1 April 2021:
- If the student card only has a stamp from the previous semester, the student must also present their certificate of enrolment for the summer semester 2021 (showing it on your phone is sufficient).
- If the current semester is printed on the UniCard, the check will be carried out as normal.
- The student must also always show photo ID.
